When you look at Vida you are able to see past her eyes and straight into her soul. Vida speaks through her art. She is by far one of the most quiet children at the Village of Hope. You often wonder what pain lies behind such a beautiful child and the sadness that is conveyed through her expressions. Vida is an orphan who has lost both her parents and unwanted by relatives.

Haggar along with her younger brother, Mark, were
once slave children to a Master in the Lake Volta region (northern area
of Ghana). Haggar was saved by Touch A Life on December 21, 2006
and has since been living at the Village of Hope Orphanage.
Haggar is a sweet, intuitive and thoughtful little girl. She can
be heard singing as she is drawing.
