Happy New Year to all of CAV’s friends and supporters!
If you are new to the Children’s Art Village (CAV) website, welcome! Stay awhile and check out the videos and pictures from our various projects around the world. This is the perfect time to share in the gratitude of where CAV has been over the last four years and where we are going.
2011 is going to be an amazing year for our organization! Beginning with a beautiful exhibition at the Sheldon Art Gallery in St. Louis, to our participation in the World Children’s Festival in Washington DC, to our return to the Village of Hope Orphanage in Ghana and finally to our return to the Sevalaya Orphanage in India. In addition, we are formulating a plan to launch CAV in Haiti. While this is still in the works we are optimistic that by 2012 CAV will have a sustainable art & music project in Haiti.
February – May 2011 - “Colors of Hope: Artwork from the Children’s Art Village” exhibit at the AT&T Gallery of Children’s Art located at the Sheldon Concert Hall and Art Galleries in St. Louis.
June 2011 - World’s Children Festival in Washington DC
August 2011 - Summer Art & Music Camp Ghana at the Village of Hope Orphanage
September 2011 – Summer Art & Music Camp India at the Sevalaya Orphanage
As of September 2010, the Children’s Art Village is proud at having our art & music programs in Ghana and India reach over 2,000 children. This is a monumental accomplishment for us as we continue to grow our grass roots organization. Thank you so much for all of your support!
Warmest regards,
